You're right about the virtues of TA on species, which is why I'm simplify it to price action and RSI only - weekly is the go-to. An assets historical 'vibe' lets you ascertain what is will probably do when a similar scenario appears. But should never be considered without macro and more specifically micro fundamentals of the asset class.

Years of hard lesson's and the loss of a bit of educational capital sharpens your mental acuity for such things. Obviously it works better on major caps with a lot of history and volume that isn't as susceptible bot manipulation. That said, when it was testing the ~16c support zones weeks ago, it was always going to be a place to watch for price and announcement confirmation for a break to the downside - the panic sell.

TA differences aside, there's nothing more important than risk management. A hard one to conquer if emotive greed and fear are still tools of the trade. People just don't want to see what is clearly in front of them and become combative when your input is contradictory to the crowd. That's life.
