You need to do a bit more digging in respect of people involved. Freedman and Bart are both major shareholders in AKP and Freedman is a major shareholder in PET.

Previously PET has been run with as little as $2m in the kitty. Not sure why the current management has thrown the towel in while still having more than $10m in the kitty. The current MD has built some expensive management structures for a small company hoping that multi million deals will fall in his lap! Need a person who can run/direct a small company and learns to walk first before starting to run. The current management has shown inability to navigate the post covid world and still living in their glass houses!! With right management (those who know the business and not some powerpoint persons) the company can be salvaged I think.
