MACQUARIE RATES SLR AS OUTPERFORM, page-414

Across the ASX can understand people moaning about shorts- when you hold CXO or PLS, etc, but really don’t think SLR is on their targets at present. Normally they target overbought and minerals in a downtrend.
If you look at the SLR shorts…

1) Pretty low percentage of shorts- just over 0.5%- almost negligible.
2) Instos often hold a short, as a hedge against bad news.
So really think no short interest in SLR atm- and can understand why- just too much value!
