Dealing with the FAA and Boeing is a long and arduous process. The FAA will check and double check everything especially after the Max debacle. I suspect its not so much the veracity of the engineering data that we are waiting on but rather the ability of the non technical bureaucrats to make a decision. I know the delay is a pain, but we are almost there.
