I would be super surprised if a deal between Woodside and Santos gets through as they would be pushing towards holding a monopoly on the oil and gas industry in Australia. However, the government have shown they are willing to take a knee and perform for the big oil companies so they could allow it.
It could affect ROG long term as it would create a really hostile market for smaller companies to compete in.
