i appreciate the intention JK, but i hosestly think any big player buying or selling a significant position would be using algorithms.. at best we would cause a spike of a few pips for a week that would then retreat once the firepower is used up..

i do however think a buyback scheme would put a continuous flow of upward momentum.. however that may be out teh window for now given how much of recent acquisitions we need to digest plus potentially lower production of our own ounces whenever Lady Ida gets scheduled for processing.

barring a big discovery in TE or a major change to processed grade at Jaurdi, i dont see a near term catalyst to break above the 3.7c resistance line,
Then there is the sector factor, when gold pushes higher and holds above 2075, if that triggers a major trend of capital into gold.. it will eventualy wash down to juniors.. big funds if they rotate will start will the majors.. midcaps will follow next and juniors last.. its also highly dependant on our costs not outstripping gold gains in an inflationary environment too

maybe they could combine a dividend reinvestment plan with a buy back sheme where they undertake to buy back all shares required to cover the DIRP... it would be cashflow neutral while encouraging holders to reinvest .. i dont know if there is an ASIC/ASX acceptaple framework for that type of scenario
