I thik UBI is tirning a corner from investment versus sales and is great value. A couple of years ago they had more cash than market cap. Now they have reinvested to utilize the core tech in multiple verticals. Some of which have lower regulatory hurdles and can support faster generation of cash flow.
They may well partner again for distribution but with more focus on the sales channels supporting their products better. In the meantime I think they are not on the radar for takeover because the tech hasn't shown its full potential yet.
