150mil usd worth of electricity is enough to run the entire smelter for 1 and a half years without need to purchase electricity. After next year they have 2 years to run 2 furnaces with electricity from inventory. The rest will be taxed at 25%.
i hope the decision isnt to postpone the construction of the heat recycling plant so they can use up the electricity quicker. Management seems to love these kind of stupid moves.
