    If the null hypothesis is that bisantrene is neither cardioprotective nor anticancer, rejecting that means that bisantrene is either cardioprotective or anticancer or both.
    But we want it to be both. The one but not the other csses don't help.

    So there have to be two separate null hypotheses.

    I think this affects the required sample size.
