Do you understand what you are actually writing? How can any remote comparison be made. You are comparing an investor who is looking to invest a few $k vs a $800k + investment.

- Does the investor have enough for a deposit?
- Does the investor have the ability to obtain finance, can they service the loan?
- What strategies do they have in place in the event they can't service the loan?
- If they required access to invested cash tomorrow, what is the strategy?

I hold properties and I don't own any gold apart from jewellery. I am not advocating to buy or sell gold. I am merely just explaining your comparison is utterly flawed.
