I can see your reasoning works fine.
About your concerns, they are all captured in the chart(s). That is the dictum of Technical Analysis. To what extent that is true, you will find out when you start using it and experience it. I am still learning TA; there are so many systems or methods to choose from. And I am a simple man, so I only like the simple and easy to use methods. I use KISS as my criterion.
