IMO to now argue the rights and wrongs of this war
is futile.....its has happened and it will likely continue
until either Russia or the USA tires of it. The only
thing that can be reasonably said about the war is that
it is a tragedy for both the Ukrainian and Russian peoples
and an enormous economic strain on western economies
including Aus due to the impact of energy caused inflation.

IMO, name calling or trying to hang tails donkeys won't help.

As Aus citizens the best we can do is to contribute generously to
the Red Cross Ukraine appeal and to write to our politicians
to seek a short term ceasefire wth the intention of a negotiated
peace.

The alternative is ongoing killing, maiming and property destruction.
At some point like with the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc,
question will have to be asked: "When is enough , enough?"
