Prof Plimer was Prof of Geology at South Aus Uni. I attended one of his lectures and asked why I hadn't heard such things previously. He responded. "I have been saying it, one would have to ask why the media don't report it." He claimed that geologists, who tend to have a longer time frame for their studies, are widely sceptical about anthropogenic climate change. As he said "Hottest Wed afternoon at 3 pm in thirty years" doesn't impress them much. (Nor me Just means that it was this hot thirty years ago. Yes I do study and read widely. and have travelled widely. And no, sea levels aren't noticeably rising. Etc). Prof Ridd was fired because his views contradicted orthodoxy. As they couldn't be rebutted he was removed. Couldn't let your nonsense go unrebutted Sewie. Over and out
