The announcement on 30 October 2023 contains details of the Spodumene test analysis and pictures of one of the rock chip trays (plus the tray under UV light). You may find those interesting. The slide presentation of 1 November 2023 contained the comment "Spodumene identified as dominant, potentially only, lithium mineral". So the early work was spodumene being the source of the lithium readings being reported. It is a useful reminder to be wary of lithium deposits where the source is lepidolite, petalite or something else containing lithium that is difficult to process.

Can you explain the importance of being vertical for successful underground mining? I was of the impression that underground mining could also be successful on large flat seams like coal.
