a lot more people will die removing fossil fuels than some tiny islands where the population can just be relocated.
I don't know if people like you understand the cult you have bought in to.
A slow strategic transition is the only way forward. Calling for the end of fossil fuels before 2050 is the guaranteed death of millions. Not the fictional millions apparently killed by weather events from higher populations.
