It's only the spot market so producers can not sell on spot however they have to continue to honour their contracts. If the spot price is artificially low it benefits buyers on long term contracts as these spot markets are part of contract mechanisms. I see no reason why it won't keep getting pushed down unless producers act on it however they don't seem to care.
