The market would prefer a silicon anode battery giving a 600 plus miles range on a single charge with a 520 WH/kg energy retention , battery still good for 500,000 miles that requires only 750 battery charges to get there , in this case les charges gets you much further with a smaller , lighter and cheaper battery .

Interesting today's presentation there is a $900 per car battery saving on top of that extra performance , only a matter of a short time till the battery /EV manufactures pick up on this and will need Anteo X to improve competitiveness , when one Major EV manufacturer has Anteo x , the rest will follow.

That's it in a nutshell semi. We're too focused on the holy grail of 1000/1500 charges. Charging an EV is a bloody inconvenience. If you can go further on less charging stops with a smaller, lighter battery then not only is there a cost saving to the manufacturer, there is a significant reduction in range anxiety and the inconvenience of excessive charging stops.
