Since those “negotiations” as you call them full of demands that were never going to be accepted broke down, Ukraine has regained 54% of the territory that Putin captured, at a cost of well over 300k Russian lives (and climbing at 1000+ a day), thousands of tanks and IFVs destroyed and at rates now that Putin can’t replace and Putins Black Sea fleet was humiliated by a country with no navy.
But sure Putin is in stronger position now to dictate his-terms.
