looking for comments - qr national float, page-3

Glad you've brought this one up shippar, I've read no more about it for over a year now - last I knew was that residents of Queensland had an opportunity to buy the shares at a discount to the float price - I've seen the ads on T.V. most weekends extolling the virtues of QR so I guess from that, that it is going ahead.

Competition to AIO alright, esp. since QR owns the tracks in QLD and apparently can run their trains at a discount to what AIO has to pay for the access.

Think there is some legal action already underway in that regard, AIO wants a set price in advance I think. - I'll leave it to others that might know more.
