Yes, indeed a sad state. Mostly a sad lack of investor confidence now.

Perhaps it's time to re-visit the options VEN has to produce from its current wells. The Vali wells are touted as also having gas reserves in the Epsilon and Toolachee formations, currently isolated behind a sliding sleeve. To boost revenue and confidence, might it be time to switch out from the under-performing Patchawarra and open up the Epsilon/Toolachee.

Something needs to change and this option is likely the most cost-effective, near-term and least risky option available - with a significant confidence-boosting upside.
