What big geospatial companies, tools, or communities exist that could be marketed to?
Nearmap in the very early days engaged with openstreetmap, but then soured that relationship with licence changes.
Similar to the ABC articles on deforestation, are there academic uses they could licence their data for that both help things (ie: fuel load predictions) and grab them the eyeballs?
