The problem with the resource numbers is that all the info so far is telling us they will be huge. The numbers are so big, people can not believe them, and people are too scared to bank on them until any uncertainty is almost removed. That is a beautiful problem to have, if you are not in a rush and prepared to wait it out.
The 18th Dec ann tells us why the certifiers will not complete their assessment of the Amistad...until Feb 2024. Basically, it is so Unit 3 - the high pressure zone of the Amistad reservoirs can be appraised (via the A3 DST). And yes, that what the smart operator will do, they will wait until the key data is in before they spend money on a key piece of work.
