Ann: Change of Directors' Interest Notice (x2), page-6

It's an open question, but I'm sitting pat atm. Rightly or not, I wasn't part of today's shenanigans. My holdings remain unchanged from recent comments I have made on these threads. (Those with half-decent memories will know what I mean.)

I was AFK for most of the trading day today, but I was aware of what was going on (praise RNGJesus for smartphones!). In any case, it would not have influenced my behavior even if I was at my desk. Upon my return after the Close I was astounded to see a combined final daily volume (ASX & C'boe) of 138m for a drop of 'only' 28.6%! I say 'only' somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but there's a more serious side to it. I thought it was very interesting to see 138m worth of buy-side volume prepared to wade-in to accept a discount of 'only' (that word again) 28.6% from panicky sellers.

I've seen some mention of the C-word while trawling through today's posts in the threads. Capitulation. No guarantees, naturally (anything can happen), but today's action certainly ticks several of the boxes required for a c-c-capitulation (out with it, son!). And the best part? It's not Friday. We only have to wait one sleep to find out the next installment of this open-ended soap opera/horse race.

PS. Although I'm not privy to the details of quantum, I know at least one above-average sell-side holder (don't know whether they were active today, but I suspect they were to some degree) and also one above-average buy-side acquirer. I conduct myself on a Chinese Wall basis with these things, interpersonally, but I do find it fascinating.
