I think Jon is a master poker player. He is making it clear (and convincing) that Neuren is now looking to move forward themselves having the money in the bank, ongoing revenue and the 'know how' of how to go alone.
I don't think this realistically will happen.
But he's saying if you don't offer a takeover figure consistent with the true value of what NNZ-2591 should be then we actually don't need you.
