Hey coal for me, Agreed but for the individual investor it doesn’t matter if there is 20% less shares outstanding or they have received a dividend and bought 20% more shares for themselves. If I get the dividend I can most likely buy shares at a better price than the company doing buy backs. (Or a different company that is currently giving better value)
