STX chairman told me at the AGM he expected a 20 cent minimum increase in SP if LNG export is allowed.
With all the street talk around this announcement on the 22 Dec I feel it now very possible. Big business drIves this State and I think the Government will change the current policy. To keep it in place would certainly cost them seats at the next election.
As suggested by the committee a 50/50 reservation policy for onshore would allow producers to bring on the scale of production needed to fill the the shortfall and drive more exploration.
WA mining prosperity has relied on cheap energy. With all the proposed future investment we need to lock in the supply.
