Glad you pointed this out. To be frank, I am not sure that Elliot waves are as effective when applied to a pennant or triangle as above since it is a fundamentally neutral pattern. The underlying market psychology is not quite the same as the usual Elliot wave habitat.
Yes, wave 3 'should' be dominant. But I've found exceptions (as with most TA 'rules').
But Elliot seems to fit nicely in this case. Perhaps others could comment on Elliot's application to triangles.
