Again, unrealistically high expectations have back fired, first about drilling results, and then about finance.
Ironically IVZ are in an incredibly strong position. .But proving up new fields takes money and time.
I actually think it would be a good thing if IVZ wasn’t one of the most discussed stocks on HC for a couple of months.
Also, this is another small cross next to SM’s name. Fluffed the PR around drilling results and now going into trading halt at 15.5 cents when it was 17 cents only days ago. But again, has to be put in context of opening up a giant new gas field.
I do wonder if some of these problems are due to under-resourcing. The sensible time to raise capital was prior to sidetrack result. But they maybe didn’t have the corporate bandwidth to do two things as once.
