The BHP alliance ending is disappointing; now although i am sure BHP play their cards close to their chest, you would expect HAV management would have had an inkling of what was coming. And therefore, you would hope they have put in plans to backfill the excitement of the BHP deal with something else.
Appointing Deutsche Bank on a sale process is a start; although any process will take a fair while. (incidentally i thought Deutsche closed down all its investment banking activities, must be mistaken!)
So what is going to drive near term price recovery? The AGM preso mentions JV partner for Mutooroo, exploration for iron ore at Grants Basin or Macdonald Hill, or a deal on uranium assets
But then it mentions that any exploration is dependent on availability of funds
Does this smell of a cap raising needed soon to cover all those costs that were previously assumed to be covered by BHP?
