That is one way of looking at it, but that is purely looking at the negative.
They needed cash, best way to raise is by sophs.
If they get a guaranteed amount it's better to raise through sophs than retail.
It is more timely and cost effective.
Quite often retail don't take up the offer when presented with the opportunity.
The company needed cash to move forward and use that cash to try to create a wealth creating opportunity for existing retail and the sophs which supported the raise.
Retail holders should be pleased that the price has virtually doubled overnight. Are they not?
There is no point complaining. Rather, increase your wealth to become a Soph investor and then play in that end yourself if that's your gripe.
There is no point losing 87% of your wealth in a year and then complaining that sophs are getting special treatment.
The sophs quite often help the companies to raise cash in turn assisting the retail, as is the case here.
As a Soph, we take more risk, so deserve the reward, and retail have benefited with gains as well.
