    sorry Scott, no I forgot.
Vanadium is superior to lithium as energy storage but is more expensive and less of it.
Nuclear will still be part of the mix with renewables as I initially postulated. The experts agree as per many interviews and videos some of which are on HC.
It seems madness, especially now with the hysteria that we are all going to boil soon (speculation most disagree with), that if we are serious about transitioning away from fossil (eventually) to its obvious limitations in Australia, that we still refuse to adopt forward looking policies around nuclear. We have the largest gift on earth beneath our feet and sitting on our hands at this stage based on past political stubbornness.
The time is now for Australia to fully consider the adoption of serious nuclear power. Otherwise, who knows, someone else in our region, who does have the need to power their plants, current and future, may just march in and take it?
All I am proposing is that despite all the mindless and ideologically opposed nay sayers, the time is now for us to consider nuclear power generation in addition to renewables, for the future security of Australia's energy.
