    Highly doubtful any renewables are of use when the weather decides to cool down the idea of global warming:


    The concerns about climate change is interesting, as if the climate misbehaves the consequences for windmills can be dire - sometimes even lack of such climate can produce windmill failures:

    Wind farms, in other words, are one of the worst options for providing electricity.


    As for EV's the performance and range, in cold climate it may well end up leaving one out in the cold:


    It is quoted that by just leaving vehicle outside for 16hours, the car's battery lost 10% of charge. Then by warming up the cabin interior, the vehicle drops another 2-3% of charge. Then it shows that the car was driven for 150km and had an indication of another 131km left. So all up at best 281km on a full charge - then recharge. AIMO
