The jv lithium hydroxide refinery in South Korea was opened at the end of last month.

Train1 will produce 21,500 tpy of LiOH.

By my rough calculations, the plant will need feed of about 15,000 tonne per month of spod to produce the amount required fornameplate.

At the end of September a shipment of PLS spod was sent to Gwangalang.

I would assume ramping of the plant would have commenced soon after.

I don’t expect that the plant is yet up to speed but much of that first shipment may have already gone through.

I would not be surprised to see one of the shipments out of Port Hedland to go to South Korea every month from now on.
