Jeff: How's our Monthly Recurring Revenue ?

Paul: Well we sold that business and uptake of our new tech is pretty slow, so there isn't really any recurring revenue left. How about we call it Monthly Recorded Revenue going forward? We can still us 'MRR' in our quarterly's, I don't think anyone will notice.

Jeff: Umm, OK, sounds fair to me. So how is our Monthly Recorded Revenue?

Paul: Well, we had some invoices going out but no receipts to talk of. Can we tell the market that our invoiced revenue was really good this quarter even though our receipts were crap? Then maybe next quarter we can tell the market our receipts were good, having received payment of the invoices from the previous quarter, even though our invoicing was crap. I think that is the best way to play it, we are all on a good wicket here and need to keep this on its feet as long as we can.

Jeff: Oh geez, this sounds dodgy. I have my reputation to think about.

Paul: It's all good Jeff, Nodestream 2.0 will go gangbusters and we will all look like hero's.

Jeff: Oh yeh, forgot about that. OK I'll cash in the last of my integrity currency and tell the market that I am supremely confident in our product and leadership team, that should buy us another 6 months. And let's pull the trigger on our new reporting method, no one will understand it anyway.
