Being debt free must surely be helpful in relieving the pressure to sell pearls as soon as they reach a marketable size. I hope we can look forward to a future of better quality, larger sizes and exponentially higher prices per pearl.
I'm not an industry insider, so when you mention price cycles, are short-term cycles a feature of the pearl market? I suppose the current boom depends on how long the extraordinary demand from China continues? In which case... what is likely to bring that to an end?
