its because they talked about retention as being the key differentiator and now after being relentlessly pestered about it due to the glaring omission of any metrics they finally admit retention is shit, and they're not trying to make non volatile memory anymore. all the hype was based on the idea they were making the thing that has a real, genuine, breakthrough application in the memory space. this is not that anymore, so its just ram but with more effort.
