I understand your situation, but there'd be many already in the top tax bracket.
Selling 20 shares or 2 million would make no difference to the tax paid.

Unless,.... they like to trade and often have losses from other investments that they could offset.

But just let me throw this one your way.
You've said you'd never sell correct? Just nod at the screen. That's good enough.

Well then you're probably never going to sell down each year anyway.
Or are you going to panic when it drops from $636 to a place called reality and start selling?
