To be clear Hydrogen gas is H2 (the smallest molecule comprised 2x H atoms). Methane CH4 (which contains Carbon+ 4 x H atoms) is a much larger molecule. However, this does not equate to particularly improved flow through the same rock. The key factor is the permeability and porosity of the rock
