The Supreme Court has ruled Wu Tao's motion does not require an extraordinary general meeting of NTU and can be put at the AGM.

It DID NOT rule the motion cannot be put, nor was it asked to.

Shareholder democracy and citizen democracy are not identical - one share one vote and one citizen one vote are different and appropriate in each case.

I appreciate it is difficult to understand civic freedoms and how the rule of law and an incorruptible judiciary operate from a carrel in China.
