I hope, and maybe it is a given, that IMU not only concentrate on product research, development and trials, but is also keeping Intel on every sizable potential suitors to maximise chances of deals/partnerships/outright TO based on the BP's strategies, products, timelines and financials. Plus planning for near term and long term scenarios.
in other words, proactive and not just passively waiting to be noticed and chosen.
