greed and naivety gets to people. Nothing wrong with buying batter blue chips like BHP sub $20 in 2016 and low $20s in 2017… made all of that in dividends/Wds merger back, plus 150% capital appreciation in 6-7 years, so 250%. They are returns people dream of, and in my view very little risk.
Explorers are generally gambling. Shouldn’t really touch them or at best a few % of your portfolio. Get rich quick schemes never normally turn out, the stock markets are littered with has been penny dreads.
