@sierraet al -
If you read through my messages with an open mind you may have noticed that
I do not stoop as low as 'your mob' on here by calling you names. Isn't that an indication that some among you have no real argument, are feeling defensive? Maybe - horror - are not well-educated?
Also:
My guess, and it's only a guess,
is that a lot of anti-vaccers are people who have the luxury of living in some remote spot, of not working, so not mixing with a lot of people and thus they have little chance of exposure to the virus.I do know that people with the vaccination can still catch the infection - one such case is one of my female cousins in Germany, she has just recovered, it was no worse than the flu - but she is a person who mixes with a lot of people, so there probably are already some variants happening in Europe for which the latest vaccine does not work.
I am certainly going to give it a bit of a break, now that i had shot No. 5 end of November.
If the virus behaves in typical virus fashion (and I am no scientist, just picked this up from reading about it and not from the Hotcopperites or Twitterati either) then
each succeeding virus generation gets more infectious but less dangerous - it probably is already no worse than the yearly influenza, which is, btw. also a mutating virus, hence we have to get a new vaccine every flu season.
If I were still going to work, I would probably take more extreme measures and use a mask etc. keep my hands meticulously wiped etc. - I don't bother in my own environment, just the usual, of course.
So please everyone: less invective (= insulting language) and more positive measures, if you are not having yourself vaccinated!
Go well all
