Again, not every one is perfect, we both can agree on that, certainly obvious errors were made and perhaps times he was ruthless. I’m not dismissing his errors without the man taking some accountability, a good start could’ve been by reducing his salary, that’s a no brainer or by not passing a large chunk of his shares to his wife whilst est day before of an announcement of bad news she had sold a chunk of shares coincidence ? imo
However on the flip side you can make a strong argument from Jimmies expertise in Ci1’s debt management etc industry made Ci1 to be one of the biggest in Hong Kong and ChapterTwo is looking ambitious to be the biggest in Sydney if not Australia.
‘imo the problem isn’t his salary should all the cogs (subsidiaries) were running smoothly, who else should be accountable for the failures, those who have the most experience in the team in lending given the poor results and that imo includes all the board.
Moving forward, when your strongest position of the company is the debt management etc and has 99% success that is a-credited to the CEOs work, who now is no longer working for the company, the obvious question begs to be asked, WHO from Ci1 team is now more talented to grow Ci1, names please?

    not professional DYOR imo
