Several top computer scientists suggest that quantum computers shall be available for purchase first to large companies in about 2 years & then for general consumer electronics with mass production. This is only an estimate & maybe there could be some intermediate steps?
A.I. is able to open opportunities to big profits from early adoption by large companies (i.e. competitive advantage) & hence we could see JVs, mergers, deals & acquisitions as quantum computing technology gets closer to the finish line. Interesting times ahead.
