ConnectEast Group (ASX:CEU) has reported a 15.8 per cent increase in average daily revenue for August, compared with last year.
The toll road operator posted revenue of just over $591,000 for the month, and the highest recorded trip volume for any single day coming in at over 200,000 on 27 August 2010.
Melbourne's Eastlink toll road recorded a 12.7 per cent rise in traffic.
In its fiscal 2010 results, ConnectEast group warned that future traffic growth remains sensitive to economic conditions, however growth in corridor traffic is encouraging and the EastLink is capturing a major share.
ConnectEast Group improved a full year net loss of $531.6 million in fiscal 2009 to report a loss of $53.6 million in fiscal 2010.
