Perhaps it would be more accurate this way:"Have to think about it from the bidders perspective though. They can see the market is onlyvaluing[pricing] this at 10c so why should they feel compelled to offer something astronomical?"No-one with any realism is expecting something astronomical, just fair value. Basing a Take over offer off the current share price however would be astronomically low. The key difference is pricing vs value. Markets always get prices wrong. Merges and acquisition work on value. 30c is a joke - anyone that's happy with 30c is in the minority.
Articles written about take over offers always reference premiums, that's just how journalism works. To think the powers that be work to the same template of value analysis that a journo would is misguided. We are all too familiar with how inaccurate journalism is when it comes to Imugene.
