I think they will approach it as Pauline said in her CEO connect presentation, where she restated that HLI’s preference for capital management in order is:
- standard, sustainable divvy
- special divvy
- buybacks
My best guess is that throughout calendar year 2024 they will payout standard 28cps divvy plus as much special divvy as franking credits allow, then buybacks.
My best guess is that TSR in calendar 2024 will be 20%+ so I will likely just hold throughout 2024.
