That should be good news for you if the UAF is killing 1000 Russian soldiers a day.

The war us now going on for over 600 days so that should amount to 600,000 Ruskie Soldiers dead
and with a nominally 10:1 injured, that should be another 6 million injured.

So in conclusion:
(a) Either the Ruskies are absolutely stupid
or
(b) That the Ruskies value their national Security very highly.

And just in case that you are inclined to label me as a Russian apologist,
let me make it perfectly clear>
(1) I am totally against war because it is a failure of civilisation and creates tragedy irrespective of which side
. if any wins
(2) This Ukraine War and that of the Israeli War are examples of how absurd wars is

(3) Those who advocate war (violence) as a means of resolving dispute are
. likely to condone domestic violence on a local/family level IMO.

Solution: Immediate ceasefires in both Ukraine and Gaza and negotiations
to compromise with enduring peaceful solutions.

That said , I realise that there are some on these threads who are driven by hate
and their only response to conflict is "Kill the Bastards" and as such, civilisation for them is merely
a thin veneer over a beastly "state of nature" Ala Hobbs.
