The two amigos at least got the following right when they said the Gillard Government doesn't have a mandate.

But they forgot to add the logical conclusion:

If the Gillard Government does NOT have a mandate then the Gillard Government has NO right to be in power.

It's really hard to get my head around this.

That in Australia we now have a Government that has been soundly rejected by the Australian People and was given its power by two individuals.

    Just TWO INDIVIDUALS.

In some ways it's nearly akin to experiencing a coup taking place in a democracy. There are these feelings of emptiness, betrayal and democracy becoming an absolute sham.

The day democracy died in Australia.
