Reading some of your posts I think it's you who is getting a whole lot wrong? I hope you've sold your boat.
El Nino isn't a 7 year cycle at all? It can be variable as it's to do with Ocean temps. The standard is every 4 years but it can easily be shorter or much longer. The one we're in now is quite mild, which probably explains the severe rainfall along the east coast and the mild cyclone.
It's been stated by all kinds of agencies that CC means more severe and unpredictable weather. Thats exactly what Cairns and FNQ has just had.
The storms we have been getting down the southern East Coast have been quite severe and constant, thats quite unusual. I find it incredible that people can still look at the weather around the globe and still say nothing to see here, the weather always changes. Amazing stuff.
